What is EXION® Face?
EXION® Face uses radio frequency and targeted ultrasound technology to target the deeper layers of the skin and stimulate the skin's ability to create hyaluronic acid.
How is EXION different from RF microneedling or traditional facials?
EXION is different from RF microneedling or traditional facials because RF microneedling uses microneedling, and EXION does not. Secondly, EXION does have ultrasound technology, which RF microneedling does not have.
Also, traditional facials only go as deep as the outermost layer of your skin, and EXION Face goes deeper into the layers to stimulate hyaluronic acid production, whereas facials do not.
What areas can be treated with EXION Face?
Areas that we can target with EXION Face are smaller areas, such as around the eyes, the nasolabial folds, or the lips, that do need a little bit of plumping. Or we can use it on the full face to give the skin a more radiant and smoother look.
What happens during an EXION Face treatment at Comfy Dental Studios?
During the EXION Face treatment, we place some ultrasonic gel on the area that needs to be treated, and we use a wand that is warm on that area and move it around. Patients would feel some warmth in the area being treated, and it should be very comfortable.
How many EXION treatments are needed and when will I see results?
EXION treatments do have to be done in packages and in consecutive treatments to see the final results. But with EXION Face, even after the first treatment, patients can see smoother, more plump skin in the area treated.
What does EXION help with?
EXION helps with fine lines and overall skin rejuvenation by targeting the deeper layers and stimulating the body's ability to build more hyaluronic acid, as if you were placing fillers without actually placing fillers.
Is there any downtime or side effects with EXION Face?
EXION Face does not have any downtime or any side effects associated with it. But we do ask that you come in fully hydrated and with your skin barrier intact so that you can get the full benefits of the treatment.
